Massachusetts Vehicle Check inspections are not expected to be up and running this week ending 4/9. (Easthampton Tire remains open for all other services.) After testing, the RMV and Applus Technologies will determine whether inspections can resume next week. Across Massachusetts, customers have been experiencing a disruption in the Mass Vehicle Check inspection service for much of this week. With the uncertainty over when service will be restored, we want to thank our customers for their ongoing patience during this time. As of now, state inspections remain suspended until further notice. Please see below for the latest update from the RMV.
Repair services will still be open. Inspection sticker bay closed 12/16 & 12/17. All shop services will resume normal business hours on 12/18. Hope to see you soon!
Easthampton Tire will be closed Mon, Oct 12th (both repair services and state inspection stickers). We will resume regular business hours this Tue, Oct 13th. Thank you and have a great weekend!
Please see RMV notice below for new extensions on vehicle inspections, including failed emissions and safety extensions. Essentially, most vehicles (except motorcycles*) with stickers expiring in March, April, and May are now extended to July. Be aware that June expirations are not included at this time and must be renewed on schedule.
*Motorcycle stickers expiring in May are extended only through June.
