It's not a bad idea to regularly check filters and the blower motor housing for debris. The nest material seen here is blocking the blower motor, inhibiting its function.

A cabin filter cleans the air coming into the vehicle. This has also been blocked by debris and can no longer do its job.

The nest material here is blocking the airbox in the engine compartment, plugging up the motor air filter.

Can you identify the problem with this picture? A brake hose normally has a nice arch to it. You don't want to find it twisted, pinched, or hitting other metal.

You never know what curious critter you might find hiding in the engine compartment!

This kind of oil sludge buildup can be avoided by using the appropriate oil for the vehicle and sticking to the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule whenever possible!

December 2021 Special Hours

Easthampton Tire & Auto Repair will close at noon on Dec 23rd and will also be closed on Christmas Eve. Both the shop and inspection bay will be open during normal hours from Mon, Dec 27th to Thu, Dec 30th. (Please note our separate hours for inspections here.) We will close for New Year’s Eve and reopen on Mon, Jan 3rd. Safe travels this season and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Inspection bay closed Thu, Nov 11th

Our Mass State Inspection bay will be closed on Thursday, Nov 11th. The main shop will be open. State inspections will reopen on Fri, Nov 12th. Thank you to our Veterans!
